We had a great group of kids, parents and coaches out on Sylvan Island tonight, trimming, running chainsaws, and blowing debris and water off the trails. The Magic Island doesn't disappoint with its ability to handle moisture. There's been over 2" of rain in the past 36 hours and 4" in the past week and its rideable now. Should be perfect by the 7pm preride on Friday.

We were looking forward to racing at Sunderbruch, but it will still be at great race at our backup location.

Group trail work session at Sylvan tonight at 6pm, right after the last storm system goes through. We'll be blowing out standing water, clearing down trees, trimming back over growth to prep for this Saturday's Iowa Scholastic Mountain Bike League race. Come out and lend a hand and trimmer, if you can!

Watch for the official change of race venue. Making a check at Sunderbruch tonight, but it's had a lot of rain this week and we'll most likely make the move to Sylvan Island.

Volunteers Needed this Saturday!

Thanks to a sizeable donation from Logan and the Duffy family business, Iron Hide Powder Coating, the North Scott Mountain Bike Club will have a new look for 2026. The donation will allow a jersey for each club member. Watch your Spond account for ordering details to come out soon. The store will allow purchases on top of the sponsored jersey. Tighter cycling jerseys and looser fit freestyle options will be available in men's, women's and junior sizes.
