Our cul de sac family who have been such a gift to us these past 4 years are in need.

The evening Jeff’s accident occurred we all came together to get he and Jocelyn Ellison to the hospital, feed the kids and create support during this scary event. The community this family created was there to support in a heartbeat. 💕 Their move is now delayed and some time for physical healing will take place.

If you feel called, please support the Ellisons. We Arabians would be so grateful. 🙏🏼💛

Traveling is beautiful and hard.

I was reminded this trip that when your children meltdown...slow your breathing...then snuggles. You won't miss out on the world no matter how long it takes them (and you 😘) to calm down.

Also, if you can get your feet in the sand and soak in the salt water... All is well.

We're off school this week. If you are too, are your days going as you had planned?

I'm spending time with my girls while the boys are on a skiing adventure.

Loom knitting, games, reading and our favorite shows. These are the memories I just eat up.

But when some of my expectations get squashed, this mama taps on those distressed feelings. At least my girls can witness that being hard on myself won't get me anywhere and a calm mama is a more fun mama.

Try not to get swept away in the "should've". Try tapping. For you, and the ones you love.

Side of Hand: Even though the exhaustion of the season is catching up with me, I accept how I feel in this moment… Even though I’m familiar with overdoing things at every holiday, I accept who I am and how I feel… Even though I’ve been ignoring the signs that may have told me to take a break and now I feel exhausted, I choose to reset and acknowledge how I feel.

Eyebrow: I tend to ignore when I’m overdoing
Side of Eye: I often don’t pay attention to my inner signals
Under Eye: I’m so used to pushing though
Nose: Busy holidays feel normal to me
Chin: I’m tired
Collarbone: I know this exhaustion all too well
Under Arm: I’m so used to overdoing
Head: I’m not sure I want to let it go

Pause, take a deep breath, and continue Tapping.

Eyebrow: I’m tired of overdoing
Side of Eye: I want to let this exhaustion go
Under Eye: Maybe I can be open to letting this go
Nose: I release all this exhaustion
Chin: I want to be present and enjoy each part of this day
Collarbone: I am ready to feel more energized
Under Arm: I am energetic today
Head: I enjoy this day with energetic peace
