River’s Edge Trail Half Marathon

Here is our official half marathon route for our 2026 River’s Edge Trail Half Marathon. Early registration runs through 9/7. Register by then to guarantee a shirt and all the swag.

We will be hosting a free kids’ run just prior to the start of our runs, starting at 7:40 am at the start/finish area. There is no pre-registration for this event-just show up!

All running events will start and end in Memorial Park in Eldora. There will be breakfast (pancakes and sausage), fruit, and coffee available for purchase for spectators and the public (these will be included in registration for half marathon and 5k participants).

Coming in from out of town? Eldora’s Pine Lake Festival will be held the same weekend, with events planned throughout the day around town. Stick around for a fun day in Eldora!

We are looking forward to our fourth annual River’s Edge Trail Half Marathon which is just over one month away! 🎉 👟 We wanted to share an update with you-due to circumstances beyond our control (construction on the Hwy 175 bridge coming into Eldora that is not expected to be finished before our race) we will be altering our route from the past few years. We have been on the ground this past week biking and running while testing out a few options and will release the official route within the next few weeks. We are hoping to keep our favorite parts incorporated along with the opportunity for you to look forward to different hills. 😉

We are proud to announce that with the support of our sponsors, participants, volunteers, and community supporters, we were able to donate $4000 to the River’s Edge Trail board this week. 🎉 This brings our total donations to the trail since starting our race three years ago to $11,500. We hope to keep growing our event and impact with your continued support, and look forward to hosting the River’s Edge Trail Half Marathon again in 2026.
