Tiger Nation,
As we close the book on this season, I just want to say how proud I am of this group.
It wasn’t a perfect season — we had our ups and downs, faced adversity, and battled through tough stretches. Sounds a lot like something else called life. Through it all, these young men never stopped showing up, competing, and representing South Hardin the right way. That’s something to be proud of.
What meant the most to me wasn’t just the growth on the court, but the growth off it. I loved watching these players develop not only as basketball players, but as young men. The leadership, toughness, and brotherhood they built will last far beyond this season.
To our seniors — Jake, Sam, Owen, Preston, Clayton, Adrian, Carter, Charlie, Sawyer, and Chaplin — thank you. You’ve poured so much into this program, and I truly love this group of young men. We are going to miss you. We wish you nothing but the best in what’s ahead, and know you will always be a part of the South Hardin family. I’ll always be cheering/coaching you in the game of life.
A huge thank you to Coach Jeske and Coach Eller. The time, energy, and heart you pour into these young men does not go unnoticed. The late nights, early mornings, extra film sessions, practices, individual meetings, team meetings, game planning and conversations — it all matters. I truly appreciate everything you sacrifice for this program and for these players.
To our booster moms, parents, fans — thank you for showing up for this team. It truly means a lot to these young men that you were there for them. Thank you for the meals, drinks, and snacks at every away game, and for providing meals for the entire team throughout the season. That kind of support makes a difference in ways you may not even realize. I personally want to thank you — we really appreciate it. I always tell the team, the older I got, the smarter my parents became — and that perspective only grows with time. Your support, guidance, and sacrifice matter more than you know.
We are incredibly thankful to be part of a community that supports our youth the way ours does. When our players look into the stands and see familiar faces, when they feel encouragement from teachers, families, alumni, and fans — that matters. That support helps shape their confidence, their pride, and their belief in something bigger than themselves. That’s what makes South Hardin special.
And a big thank you to our cheer squad for supporting us every single game. Your energy, enthusiasm, and school pride never go unnoticed. You helped create an atmosphere our players loved competing in.
Proud of this team.
