THE WAIT IS OVER… WE’RE BACK! ❤️🖤

Four months ago, a water main break turned our world upside down. In a matter of hours, the gym we’ve poured so much of our lives into was severely damaged… and we came dangerously close to losing our livelihood.

What followed was four months of insurance headaches, reconstruction, setbacks, stress, and uncertainty.

But through all of it, YOU GUYS STOOD BY US.

To every member who stayed with us, kept showing up, checked on us, encouraged us, and had patience while we put Athens back together… THANK YOU. We truly mean that.

And today we finally get to share some GREAT news…

🔥 OUR GROUP FITNESS ROOM IS OFFICIALLY OPEN! 🔥

And we didn’t just rebuild it… we made it better.

Our new Woodflex flooring gives us the beautiful, realistic wood look with the hygienic benefits of a synthetic multipurpose gym floor and excellent shock absorption to help protect our members and athletes.

Combined with the new rubber flooring and everything else we’ve improved over these past few months, Athens has never looked better.

What could have been the end of a chapter has turned into the beginning of an even better one.

And we’re not done. We’ll keep reinvesting, improving, and adding value to this club because YOU deserve it.

🚨 BIG NEWS, ATHENS FAMILY — IT’S FINALLY HAPPENING!!! 🚨

Four months after the water main break, we’re officially at the FINAL major step of rebuilding our Group Fitness Room… THE BRAND-NEW FLOOR IS GOING IN! 🔥

Because the flooring installation and adhesive need the proper time to set, the GROUP FITNESS ROOM ONLY will be closed Monday 8/24 through Sunday 8/30.

But we want to make this VERY clear:
The entire rest of the gym, equipment and amenities are OPEN and operating as usual. Only the Group Fitness Room is affected.

The room will reopen Monday 8/31, and we cannot wait for you to see the finished product.

It’s been a long four months, but this is a BIG moment for Athens. Thank you to everyone who has been patient with us while we rebuilt this space the right way.

ONE MORE WEEK. NEW FLOOR. FRESH ROOM. LET’S GO. ❤️🖤

New toy at Athens 👀

We just added an AssaultRunner Pro to the gym.

If you’ve never used one, there’s no motor — you control the speed completely. The harder you run, the faster it goes. Great for sprints, conditioning, intervals, or just making your cardio suck a little more 😂

It’s simple, it’s brutal, and it’s an awesome piece of equipment.

83 years old.

Most people think working out at this age is about looking fit.
