We're planning the Easter Bunny drop for the Flora-Bama Apr 15. Timber has agreed to fly some additional loads so if you want to make a beach jump let me know so we don't end up with too many jumpers and not enough time. Thanks and Blue Skies!

Beach Jumps - Part Two!
That's right - we have beach jumps scheduled for Nov 16 flying out of Ferguson Airport starting about 9:00. The airport is on Aileron Dr, south of US 98 between Dog Track Rd and Blue Angel Parkway, about 4.5 miles from the Alabama state line. We will be able to handle cash or checks. We're working on some additional events and hopefully will have more exciting news soon. I'll keep you posted as things develop.

BEACH JUMPS have been rescheduled for Sep 28. As planned we will us Ferguson Airport in Pensacola. The airport is on Aileron Dr, south of US 98 between Dog Track Rd and Blue Angel Parkway, about 4.5 miles from the Alabama state line. We will be jumping at the Flora-Bama.
We plan to start jumping by 10:00 and would like to finish by about 6:00. We will be able to handle cash or checks at the airfield but if you plan to use a credit card you will need to coordinate with Becky at the DZ before the 28th. Jumpers will need to coordinate rides from the beach. We will help with rides if we can.
Jumpers who have made beach jumps with us before are good to go. If you are a local (Emerald Coast) jumper with a B license and demonstrated accuracy to one of our instructors you need to coordinate with an instructor for guidance prior to jumping the beach. Visiting jumpers who have not made beach jumps with us before will need a C license. ALL jumpers will need current USPA membership & license, current documented jump status, current reserve, water gear, etc.
We have no authorization to jump at Ferguson Airport, Horak Airport, or any other location that will accommodate less than a B license, so no A license jumpers and no students. As much as I enjoy working with students I am truly sorry we can't get you in the air.
If you are not currently waivered with Emerald Coast (updated since Jan 1) you should coordinate with Becky at 251-986-5618 prior to Saturday to schedule & start a waiver. We will not be fully functional at Ferguson Airport and cannot verify USPA membership, license, currency, etc.
After the last load we will have a cookout at the DZ. KC has donated steaks and we have a ham, we ask that you bring a side-dish (coleslaw, salad, veggie tray, dessert, etc). We will also have a "skydiver yard sale" with gear, jumpsuits, shirts, promotional items, freebies, etc.
See you Saturday! Blue Skies!
M.D.

Beach jumps have been postponed due to weather. I'll post a new date ASAP. Thanks, M.D.

Hi gang!

We're planning beach jumps for Sep 21, followed by a "skydiver yard sale" and cookout at the DZ. We will be flying out of Ferguson Airport in Pensacola. The airport is on Aileron Dr, south of US 98 between Dog Track Rd and Blue Angel Parkway, about 4.5 miles from the Alabama state line.

We plan to start jumping by 10:00 and would like to finish by about 6:00. We will be able to handle cash or checks at the airfield but if you plan to use a credit card you will need to coordinate with Becky at the DZ before the 21st.

We're working on some shuttles but be prepared to provide your own transportation from the beach. We might make some jumps at the old Lillian's Restaurant location since it's about 5 miles closer to the airport than the Flora-Bama. We will finish at the Flora-Bama with a memorial jump for Jim, which I'm sure will take multiple loads.

After the last load we will have a cookout at the DZ. KC has donated the meat, we ask that you bring a side-dish (coleslaw, salad, veggie tray, etc).

We will also have a "skydiver yard sale" with gear, jumpsuits, shirts, promotional items, freebies, etc.

If it's a success we will look at trying to plan another event soon.

See you on the 21st - Blue Skies!

Sadly yes the rumors are true. Emerald Coast has ceased operations. The airplane is still in maintenance and we need to find another airfield to operate from. Liability concerns and just general heartbreak from loosing Jimmy. The "Colonel" decided it was best. I do not know if M.D. is looking into alternatives. When the plane is ready perhaps we can at least do some beach jumps taking off from Ferguson Aiport of Gulf Shores. I will post up when something is planned. In the mean time. Gold Coast and Skydive Panama City would love to. See you! Skydive Live is closed for a few weeks while the plane is in maintenance. Continue to Keep Jimmy's family in your prayers as I know you will! Blue Skies my friends! Love to you all!
