Coffee County Lake Family oriented lake Come and have fun at the Coffee County Lake. The scenery is beautiful throughout all seasons. Restroom on grounds.

Enjoy boating, fishing, picnicking, nature walk, and maybe catch a glimpse or two of the bald eagles. Good place to practice your photography skills, with variety of birds, turtles, raccoons and many other animals. Also for your enjoyment, the lake offers three fishing piers, a child's play area, and two covered picnic pavillions. Numerous picnic tables are found throughout the lake area. You will

also find a bait shop complete with live & artificial bait , fishing tackle and concessions. Come and enjoy the Coffee County Lake.

The Coffee County Lake is now closed to the public. A reopening date has not been announced. I am no longer affiliated with the operation of the lake. I enjoyed my 14 years as Lake manager, but have now moved and request that you stop calling my phone to check in on Lake matters. Thanks for your years of support.

The State Department of Conservation has closed the Coffee County Lake. I have enjoyed being here to help all of you enjoy the lake for the past decade. However, it has decided to make changes to its operation. I am sure it will notify the public when it reopens.

The Coffee County Lake will be open on Monday, May 30, to allow everyone that is off that day to enjoy fishing. The bait shop will be closed, but all fishermen are expected to use an honor system and put any fees in the slot in the door of the bait shop.

The Coffee County Lake will be closed during the months of December and January. The lake will reopen in February. The closure is to allow for renovations to buildings, piers and to protect fish that will be stocked in the lake in December.

The Coffee County Lake will be closed to fishing the months of December, 2020, and January, 2021. The lake will reopen on Feb.3 , 2021, and will be open again next year on Wednesday-Sunday, from sun-up until sundown. The State Conservation Dept. will restock the lake with catfish and bream, and make needed repairs to the piers, restroom and bait shop during the two months the lake is closed. Due to effects of Hurricane Sally the lake will be closed to fishing on Wednesday, Sept. 16. Will update as soon as we get a better idea of the forecast for Thursday. Thanks, and stay safe!!

Weekend help needed at the Bait Shop, Saturday and Sunday. Bait Shop open both days from 6:00 - 6:00. Pay ain't great, but is a parttime job for someone that needs it. Respond here.
