Taking it back to 2014, when we attended our very first PressCamp at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California! PressCamp brought cycling brands and journalists together to discover new products and explore innovations in the cycling industry.

It was there that we had the pleasure of meeting Roy Wallack, who at the time was working at the LA Times. After testing our Infinity Seat, Roy was so intrigued by its unique design, and innovative approach to pressure relief that he paused the publication of his book to add a page featuring our seat!

For this testimonial Tuesday we’re featuring Simeon Lott! 🚴⭐

During his time in the infantry, Simeon injured his lower back, compressed a disc and pr*****ed another. He’s managed both acute and chronic pain ever since

“Infinity Seat saddles turned my cycling career around overnight! I’ll never use anything else. Allow me to explain. I’ve been a triathlete on and off since I was 18, and hoped to be able to do my first Ironman in 2014, at Coeur d’Alene in Idaho. The trouble is, after about 30-35 miles into any bike ride my back pain would be excruciating. I could only hold the aero position on my tri bike for short stretches at a time during the first two hours. All long training rides were miserable. On the day of the race my back seized up and I was pulled from the course after I missed the time cutoff at mile 90 of the bike leg. I was in so much distress I almost wept with relief. I entered another Ironman and bought a road bike (pictured) specifically for the race, which was fitted to make sure I was a lot more upright. I finished the race 12 minutes under the 17 hour finish-line cutoff. I swore I’d never do an Ironman again.

Then I discovered the Infinity Seat. After the necessary tweaking to get the position just right, I was blown away. Instantly my back pain disappeared. I could ride for six hours with no discomfort. Every time I got back on the bike after a rest stop it felt as comfortable as it did when I sat on it for the first time that day. I switched the saddle over to the dreaded tri bike. Unbelievably, I could hold the aero position comfortably for long periods as well - 100 miles mostly in the aero bars. I entered another Ironman and was able to significantly PR. I cannot recommend Infinity Seat saddles enough.”

The legendary Furnace Creek 508 is back in 2027! I am guessing I am not the only one emotionally attached to this EPIC event? I will tell my story shortly, but first let's make it happen.
For organiser to be able to go through with it and put it back on the calendar, they need 75 of us to sign up by the end of November. Please join me in bringing this legendary event back!

The story goes like this:
I have DNFed my first RAAM with pulmonary embolism and not many people believed that I will ever come back, except me and my love Irma Baloh. After the surgery in the Spring of 2004 I needed to show and prove to myself above all, that I can still be competitive in ultra racing. And what a better event to do that that the legendary FC508, the original RAAM qualifier in California. With no big sponsor support, I found myself three local guys that were willing to help me - Jack, Joe and Tim. To cut the long story short, we did an excellent job and took the victory to Slovenia. Backing myself to keep on trying to achieve THE GOAL - finishing Race Across America solo.

Anyway, let's see how much did I slow down in the past 23 years. I also want to see this legendary event back on the Calendar and young(er) people to get a chance to experience it.
Let's do it together! We need 65 people more to sign in for an adventure of a lifetime. Join us!

( BTW - yes, I might be slower than in 2004, but for sure my tooshie will be happy that I am using the most comfortable bike seat in the World - the Infinity Bike Seat. )
