A steel quick release system designed specifically to protect your recreational vehicle's stabilizer jacks. Are you tired of damaging your trailer and your stabilizer jacks, because they hang to low? Have you ever arrived at camp only to find your stabilizers are no longer functional? Saveajack is the original trailer stabilizer jack quick release system. It is designed to provide a simple way to remove your stabilizer jacks when operating your vehicle, thus adding much needed ground clearance. Most stabilizers hang four to five inches below your vehicle's frame. They are very susceptible to damage when driving off road or steep driveways. Saveajack is a permanent steel bracket that mounts directly to the frame of your recreational vehicle's frame, and to your stabilizer jacks. Once installed you can easily remove your jacks, thus preventing the constant problem of dragging your jacks. Saveajack provides peace of mind knowing your stabilizers are stowed away safely. Don't forget to buy Saveajack before your next trip!

In 1911, California engineers began building a 13-MILE AERIAL TRAMWAY that carried SALT OVER AN ENTIRE MOUNTAIN RANGE!

Deep in the California desert, the Saline Valley Salt Company faced an enormous problem. Valuable salt deposits lay inside a remote valley, separated from the nearest railroad by the towering Inyo Mountains. Transporting the salt by wagon was slow, difficult, and expensive.

Their solution was almost unbelievable. Engineers constructed an aerial cable system stretching approximately 13.5 miles across the mountains. Steel carriers transported hundreds of pounds of salt at a time, climbing more than 7,000 feet in elevation before descending toward Owens Valley. Some sections crossed slopes approaching 40 degrees!

Despite its extraordinary engineering, operating costs and financial problems eventually ended the venture. Today, portions of the historic tramway remain scattered across the mountains, preserving one of California's most remarkable forgotten industrial achievements.

We will see you at Imperial Sand Dunes in two weeks for Camp RzR!

Did you know the Imperial Sand Dunes (also known as the Glamis Sand Dunes) served as a filming location for Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi? These iconic dunes, the largest in California, provided the backdrop for scenes on the desert planet of Tatooine. Even after filming ended in 1982, remnants of Jabba the Hutt’s sail barge could be found buried beneath the sand years later.

In 2023, the Bureau of Land Management celebrated the film’s 40th anniversary with a Star Wars – Discover the Desert Day. The event included educational activities, tours to the original filming site, and an outdoor screening of Return of the Jedi. Today, Imperial Sand Dunes continues to offer incredible scenery and adventure for OHV enthusiasts and Star Wars fans alike.
