I want to say a big thank you to everyone who volunteered at the Lukan Fit water station during Sunday's marathon! Your energy, encouragement, and willingness to spend your day supporting runners made a difference to every participant who came through. We couldn't have done it without you!

Are you farm-tough and ready to run? This Saturday, April 25th at 9 am, the Friends of Palisades-Kepler State Park is teaming up with Bass Family Farms for the third annual Pals for the Park: 5K Fun Run on the Farm!

You can run on roads and trails any day of the week, how often do you get to race on a Farm!? I will be out there helping runners get warmed up and stretched out before the race and I would love to see you there!

Do you want to be apart of Cedar Rapids’ first ever Marathon on June 7th but don’t want to run the 26.2 miles!?

If this sounds like you, we would LOVE to have you be apart of our water station crew! In the link below you can sign up to be a volunteer to pass out water to the amazing runners! This event will be a fun, wet, exciting and motivating experience! You’ll also get an up close opportunity to inspire the runners to keep going as you help them stay hydrated on the course!

We were honored to be apart of Abbi’s 5k run/walk this past Sunday. Abbi was a remarkable young lady.
