r those of you surviving in the trenches of modern day society, limited in time, locked in a chair, bogged down by a growing list of responsibilities and looking for a mechanism to get strong and make healthy changes to improve the quality of their life. GTS operates out of 4 Star Gym, a 1000 square foot Strength Gym, with a 40+ year history, located in the heart of downtown El Segundo, CA. It his home to 100's of lifters and competitive strength athletes. If you train on your own, it is a great place to implement any program from Mark Rippetoe's Starting Strength, Dan John, Jim Wendler's 5-3-1, Louie Simon's Conjugate Method from West Side, Pavel's Power to the People, etc.

💪 Two different people. Two totally different goals. Same level of commitment.

Client 1 — Male, 30s | Body Recomp Started at 203.5 lbs and is now sitting at 190.5. That’s 13 lbs down over about 4 and a half months while building muscle and getting stronger at the same time. No crash diets, no quick fixes. Just showing up consistently and eating smart. His 4 week average has dropped almost every single week. That’s not an accident. That’s what doing the work looks like. 🔥

Client 2 — Female, 40s | GLP-1 + Habit Foundation This one hits different for us. She came in and spent several months in 2025 just building the foundation. Healthy eating habits, consistent training, learning her body. Then in 2026 she added GLP-1 medication to help with fat loss. Starting at 183.3 lbs she’s now down to 164.5. Almost 19 lbs gone and she has held onto her muscle and strength throughout the whole process.
And that last part is NOT an accident.

As a marketing executive, my job isn't physical, so working out is a deliberate choice. I only considered joining GTS because John was having such a positive experience.
