Jeromy and I will be hosting a clinic here on October 24!

This will be a truck and trailer precheck before traveling and some tricks to successfully back your trailer into any space. Bring your own rig and let's get you ready for fall trail riding!

What you will learn:
- What fluids to check and how
- Checking your trailer lights and some tricks to
try if they aren't working
- Understanding truck and trailer tire pressures
and how to adjust in different weather
conditions
- Changing a trailer tire while keeping your
horses on board and what tools we use to
make it easy
- When and how to use a grease gun and how
to know if your bearings are good
- Tip and tricks for backing your trailer
- The must haves when traveling with horses

If we have enough interest and time allows (which it should), you can also bring your horse for a trailer loading session in the afternoon. If there's not a lot of interest in that then we may saddle up and do some riding.

Limited to 10 spots. $150 per person for truck/trailer portion in the morning (lunch included). An additional $100 for afternoon horse portion.

If all 10 spots are filled, we will have a trailer backing course at the end, and the person with the least amount of faults and best time will win a trailer kit!

$50 nonrefundable deposit to hold your spot. We are not allowing audits for this first clinic, we may consider that in the future.

I'm late posting this but wow what a week! I know I kind of ghosted you guys, I had another horse show separate from the National Cavalry Competition and then playing catch up from being gone. I am still in awe over the incredible opportunity to not only compete in the 2026 National Cavalry Competition but to be able to showcase these mustangs.

We were able to pull off a win for the Bulte Cup Finals that I posted on Saturday! I knew we had a solid run but wasn't sure it was good enough for first. To my surprise, I was also awarded the National Champion Title for the whole event. As many of you know, very rarely am I speechless, but I felt very overwhelmed and honored to be chosen for this. I was told I am one of 5 women to win the Bolte Cup and one of 2 to win both that and the National title (I haven't done my own research on that yet).

Thank you to my horse! The little engine that could! Rooster is such a special guy and he tackles every challenge that I put in front of him. Although I knew he had the grit to handle this competition, he surpassed my expectations by far.

Thank you to the competitors! I have really enjoyed chatting with and getting to know everyone both this year and last. I feel like there are friendships being built that will last a lifetime. I appreciate everyone who loaned me gear, educated me, or offered kind words and encouragement.

Thank you to the National Cavalry Association for putting on this great event and for preserving our history through live action.

Thank you to my husband and to all of our friends and clients that jumped in helped out around the facility while I was running around like a crazy person all week. And for putting up with me being tired and grumpy. And the ones that came with me to the event to hold my gear, or shuttle me around in their truck, or make sure I was drinking plenty of water, and everything in between!

Never in my life did I think I would receive a standing ovation from a room full of decorated officers and soldiers. Competing side by side with you all has been one of the greatest honors of my life and I will never forget these moments. I have the utmost respect for what you all do and what you stand for.

Here is our finals run for the Bolte Cup at the National Cavalry Competition. It combines all elements from our preliminary classes. We will find out the results at the awards dinner tonight. :)

We had the Mounted Pistol today and won our class! I think I shot too early on the first jump and he wasn't as confident going over the second one so we plowed through it. But from my understanding only balloons are faults and not the obstacles themselves. We hit all balloons and had a quick time. Yay rooster!!

We got invited to compete in the Bolte Cup finals which are happening at 1pm tomorrow!!

Here is our field jumping this morning. Rooster is getting tired and I really had to work hard driving him to the fences. But I am so proud of how he is handling all of these events and especially these big new jumps that he hasn't faced before. Special thanks to cji_.rider for her jumping tips over the past 2 years. I hear her voice in my head when I'm on the field.

We have mounted pistol this afternoon starting at 1pm.

Update: Word just came in and we won the class!! 👏🏻

Our second event today was the Combat Horsemanship. In this event you have to be dressed out in full gear for battle. This was the first time I shot balloons off the ground with Rooster and we've been training with 22 blanks and he handled the 45 like a pro. This was also the first time I had slung a carbine while horseback to dismount and the first time for me shooting a r***e while holding Rooster. I really think that if we get my kinks worked out that he will be very competitive in this event. I couldn't be more proud of how he is performing!

The announcer has the wrong sheet for Rooster and is reading my minis bio for the wheeled competition that's happening Saturday morning 🤣 That's what all the chatter is in the background lol

Well as you all may know, Rooster and I are competing this week at the National cavalry competition. This horse is such a blast ride and he tries his heart out no matter what I ask of him. Last year I got just a taste of each of these events in Level 1/Level 2 on Uno. This year I decided to challenge myself and Rooster and go for the Level 3. I know he can do it all, it just requires me to ride and communicate with him so he can get the job done.

We had Military Horsemanship Level 3 yesterday and laid down a pretty solid run placing us 3rd for our first event. (We did not get my run on video but for good reason because an emergency was being dealt with. Not my place to say details.)

‼️ SPOILER ALERT ‼️
I fell off at the very first obstacle in the Mounted Saber this morning. I laughed entirely way too hard at myself when rewatching the video. Now you guys get to as well, because let's be honest, it happens to all of us at some point! They did allow me to get back on and run my course with a no score. And we killed it! (No pun intended lol) Rooster has been amazing no matter what I throw at him!

"Dun it Like Hollywood"

This is one the whole family can enjoy!

Hollywood is a 2022 model mare with potential to go any direction. She stands at 14.2 hands. She's been roped off of, but would do well in the speed events, the ranch riding, trail, or even for an intermediate kid. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and is extremely trainable. I've had all levels of riders on her and she has handled them all really well. Located in El Reno, Ok. 12,5🥕🥕
