Due to the extreme heat advisory tomorrow I am canceling practice. Last week we only had 3 shooters show up for practice. Just as a reminder if you plan on shooting in competitions 4H requires that you attend the practices. We have three upcoming competitions in October.

This Saturday, OTSA hosts the Canadian County Free Fair Trap Shoot starting at 8:30am to noon. It will be a 50-bird singles event. No singles practice will be available until noon. Doubles and s***t practice will still be available.

If you are a citizen of Canadian County you can shoot the event and compete for trophies. Targets are free. Come out and join the fun.

August 15th is the Canadian County Free shoot. Sign up will be 8am - 8:30am. Anyone under 18 will a parent there to sign the release form. Thanks!

For those who weren’t able to make practice yesterday. They have a volunteer training for shooting sports coming. If you are interested you need to contact the Canadian County Extension office and they will get you signed up and they will cover the cost. Spots will fill up fast I would not wait. Thanks!
