AT ANY TIME DURING THE LEAGUE AND PLAYOFFS.
1. The league will consist of 8 regular season games and 2 playoff games double elimination. The first seed/will be determined by the overall Wins
Player Eligibility
Adult AND Young Adults with PARENT PERMISSION only
A. The roster shall not exceed 6,8,10 players depending on price you pay. Rosters must be filled out before the 1st scheduled game. Final rosters are locked as soon as the fourth game starts. Adding/Deleting players must be in writing and turned in for approval before a player can be added/deleted to the official roster
C. Only those players who appear on the official roster will be eligible to participate in the league games/play offs. D.No player should appear on two different rosters in the same division.The player must remain with the team that he played with first for the remainder of the season, including playoffs. UNIFORMS: ONLY IF DESIRED Teams CAN wear shirts alike in color for games
Game Ejections. PLEASE REFER TO THE PENALTY MATRIX
(Conduct of Participants).
1. If a player is ejected from a game or facility they must talk to the Sports Manager before being able to return.
2. All suspensions are transferable from the present season to the following season.
3.An ejected player must leave the facilities immediately
Game Time
A. A team must have at least (3) three players to be ready to play any game, of these (3) three players at least (1) one must be a female player. With (4) four players at least (1) one must be a female player; with (5) five and 6 players (2) two must be females.
1. team can consist of all females, but if not the above has to be followed. Games are played with rally scoring up to a 21 point cap. If a third game is needed, then the third game will be played with rally scoring up to a 15 point cap OR Time is up which ever is first. In the event that the game is tied at a game a piece with not time left a third game will commence. 1st team to score five points wins the match. Teams will get a 2 minute warm up unless the team is late then they lose their warm up, and must be ready to play at the scheduled game time. E.If a team is missing players, the other team has the option to play with holes. F. In playoffs, each game is played to 21 switch at 10 points win by 2 points cap at 25 semifinals will be best of 3. Game Play
A.During league and Tournament play On a multiple hit, a female must make one of the hits before the ball is played over the net. Each team will be allowed two 20 second time outs per game. Substitutions must be made in the back row. That means you can sub for the server, middle back, and left. If subbing into the left back position you must play one possession before rotating to the front. Any team not ready to play at game time will be deducted a point for everyminute up to 15 minutes. Thereafter the game shall be considered a forfeit. Penalty Matrix
InfractionPenalty
Engaging in aggressive behavior that has resulted in physical violence against another player, game official, the sandbox staff, game spectator, or program participant will result in Immediate removal from the game or facility and suspension from facility or activity for a minimum of 1 yearand up to 5 years. Physically threaten a gameofficial (umpire, referee, site supervisor), the sandbox, or another player or program participant with the intent to cause harm will result in Immediate removal from the game or facility and suspension from facility or activity for a minimum of 2 games and up to 2 seasons. Verbally abuse a game official(umpire, referee, site supervisor),the sandbox staff, or another player or program participant with the intent to cause harm will result in immediate removal from the game or facility and suspension from facility or activity for a minimum of 2 games and up to one season. Refusal to abide by a game official’s or facility staff member’s decision either with abusive and/or argumentative language or other forceful action will result with Immediate removal from the game or facility and suspension up to 6 games. All Disciplinary action will be concurred with the sandbox board of directors and followed through by the League Director. Please note that all sports are competitve no matter what skill level.
