Ellsworth native Kaden Davis continues the pursuit of his professional dreams.

After high school, Davis worked his way through Butler Community College before emerging as a playmaker at Division II powerhouse Northwest Missouri State. His success at Northwest helped earn NFL opportunities beginning in 2022 with organizations including Denver, Arizona and Detroit before spending the past two seasons with Cleveland.

Davis appeared in games with the Browns while splitting time between the active roster and practice squad. He also spent time in the USFL with the Michigan Panthers in 2023, catching eight passes for 83 yards.

Now with the Houston Gamblers of the UFL, Davis is again making the most of his opportunity.

Through three games, Davis has already become a key contributor in the return game with 190 kick return yards on seven returns, averaging 27.1 yards per return. He has also added three receptions for 20 yards offensively for 210 all-purpose yards.

He also hopes to earn another NFL opportunity and worked out for the Tennessee Titans in late March.

The path is never easy, but Davis continues to chase his opportunity at the highest level of professional football.
