Kylee Stuever came to Butler for the chance to play volleyball and pursue her degree. Along the way, she found a community that would shape both her personal and professional life.โฃ

Assistant volleyball coach Stephano Anthemides had a lasting impact on Stuever, instilling a confidence that she credits with influencing her path after Butler. His mentorship continues to stay with her today.โฃ

Today, Stuever is enjoying life in Fort Worth, Texas, where she is a full-time mom to her children. She met her husband, fellow Butler alumnus Craig, at Butler and credits the college with opening doors that led to her transfer to K-State and a career in higher education, including her time as an academic advisor at Texas Wesleyan University.โฃ

Her connection to Butler came full circle when she returned to work at the college from 2017โ€“2019 โ€” a time she says she is "forever grateful" for.โฃ

"Being a Butler alum to me means being a part of the community, practicality for pursuing a degree, opportunity, and just makes sense."
