We host various events to help support our area youth sports teams.

🎯 417 REC SHOOTER SPOTLIGHT - RYLUN MAYS🎯

Hard working is probably one of the best ways to describe Rylun. When he isn’t on the trap field, you can find him playing football or basketball, and when he isn’t playing sports, he’s working on the farm. He definitely isn’t afraid of a little hard work!

One thing we really admire about Rylun is his determination. Whether he has a great round or one that doesn’t go quite the way he wanted, he doesn’t give up or get down on himself. He keeps going, keeps working, and comes back ready to try again.

That attitude makes Rylun a great example for the younger kids on our team to look up to. He shows that success isn’t just about talent—it’s about working hard, having a good attitude, and never giving up.

We are proud to have Rylun as part of our 417 Rec family and can’t wait to see what he continues to accomplish on and off the field! 🎯💥🏈🏀

Edit! I forgot to mention how much praise our younger boys got for how well they carried themselves today. No jacking around, they all listened well had great gun safety. That is something we all love to hear about our kiddos!

We took 3 teams to Adrian today for a trap shoot.

Our older boys brought home first place. The younger boys didn’t shoot to shabby either.

Chet brought home Top Shooter for 18U for the second year in a row.

Those adult men, well we don’t need to talk about how they shot! 😬

Yesterday we took 9 girls and 14 boys on a wild adventure to Marionville for a trap shoot. Congratulations to Penny Kinnett, the queen of the range, for being the girl overall top shooter with 38/50. Maggie Woody came in second, but still rocked it with 29/50.
