Imperial Valley Girls Softball League (IVGSL) is a local non-profit youth recreation softball league built for girls from 5-16 years old. Players come from all over the Imperial Valley and range from first time players to travel teams. We base our league on the foundation of sportsmanship, teamwork, and volunteer service. This applies to all involved personnel from the youngest player to coaches and includes our parents and board members. Players of all abilities are welcome, from beginners to experienced.
2. We have divisions for girls ages 5-16. All girls will automatically be placed in their appropriate age division based on their age as of January 1st, 2023, not their current age. Girls will NOT be allowed to play outside of their assigned division.
3. PLEASE Register AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, as we will be capping registration once all projected teams are full. The number of players able to register will be based on the number of teams/head coaches we have available in the division. If the division is full, the registration website will automatically place your child on a Wait List.
4. Division Limits will be as follows:
-6U will have player to coach ratio of 12 to 1.
-8U and up will also have ratio of 12 players to 1 coach, however each division will be limited to a total of 5 teams.
5. Registration will be open December 15, 2022 - January 8, 2023.
6. Fees for this season are $100 - 6U; $120 - 8U, 10U, 12U & 14/16U
7. Games will be scheduled for Monday - Friday @ 6:30 or 7:00. Practices are scheduled by coaches based on their availability.

-Opening Day – 2/11/23
-Regular Season Games – 2/13/23 - 4/6/23
-Playoffs - 4/17/23 - 4/28/23
-Closing Ceremony – 4/22/23
