We are sad to say that unfortunately we have made the tough decision to end the Semi-Pro team for now. After numerous conversations it appears that many of our current players would most likely not be carrying on with the team after this season. We have struggled already the last two events with individual personal commitments, time off work, getting to events and practices. And the results have shown the effect of this, even tho the guys have been playing some great paintball! At this level, there is a certain amount of commitment that must be made in order to be successful. No matter how much we all like each other, that won’t win us a paintball tournament. With that being said, from a business stand point it does not make sense to carry on with the team playing NXL events this year. With the money and time commitment, it just does not work. To be semi-pro you have to be 100% committed, this is not something that can be done with one foot out the door.
We will continue on with our XSV Program currently 60+ players deep from beginner to D4. And who knows, someday we may have the players to revamp Semi-Pro. It is a goal and dream of ours to carry on the XSV tradition and name at the national level so we will continue to work towards that in the most effective ways possible. We are thankful to the companies that have sponsored, and will continue to sponsor, our program from the beginners on up. We will stay focused on moving forward and always growing paintball. Keep an eye out for the release of XSV products in the days and weeks to come. We are eternally grateful for all the support so many have given to our program over the years. We are in paintball for the love of the game, don’t worry we aren’t going anywhere. See you all soon!
