Another work horse and blind buddy is Goose. Goose is handled by Jonathan Lugo. Goose will be going on his 3rd year of hunting and let me tell you this dog is special! Goose was born at Southern Oak Kennels and is the offspring of Stud Dog (Moose). Goose is a big, loving, and easy going around the house and powerful to watch in the field!

I would like to introduce a few of our work horses and blind buddies! This is Maverick he is a Black British Labrador out of Blazing Gundogs Training and Boarding his dad Stogy was imported from the UK. This will be Mav’s second year of retrieving birds. Mav was trained by Paul Massey at Third Coast Retrievers in Wharton Tx. If you spend enough time with Mav you will soon notice his love for people, his drive, and companionship.
