Busy mom. Busy business owner. Perimenopause. Hormones all over the place. Still here. Still lifting. Still prioritizing protein. Still becoming stronger than yesterday (trying to). 🫶

My weight is hanging at 136 😫 haven't been this small in about 10 years, this wasn't a goal for me but my body has a mind of its own right now. Working towards getting more answers as to why I keep losing.

Im still training clients and added kiddos in for the Summer. I LOVE what I do and with me going through Perimenopause issues it just teaches me things to help my ladies out too. Living and Learning everyday.

Youth Summer Training starting June

Check-In šŸ’ŖāœØ

Life has been full lately — Training in the gym, the ice cream truck, coaching baseball, and keeping up with my garden… and somewhere in all that, I realized I haven’t been showing up for me the way I should.

I love everything I do, but even good things can stretch you thin. So this month, I made a hard but necessary choice to step back from my fitness challenge class to get a little time back at home. It’s been a breath of fresh air… but I definitely miss my girls šŸ’›

Between hormone swings and a stomach bug that knocked me out for 2 weeks, my nutrition hasn’t been the best. I’ve just focused on getting in 2–3 workouts when I can and giving myself grace.

Now I’m working my way back — aiming for:
āœ”ļø 3–5 workouts a week
āœ”ļø 10k steps a day
āœ”ļø Bringing back my ā€œJesus Walksā€ šŸ™ (1 mile + faith podcast time)

Because the truth is… I can’t pour into everyone else if my own cup is empty.

Here’s to finding balance, giving yourself grace, and making time for YOU — even in the middle of a busy, beautiful life šŸ©·šŸŒøšŸ«¶āœļø

Summer is around the corner and openings will be limited so each child gets the necessary one on one work.

Speed Work is just one of the many things I work on with youth athletes or kids in general. I help teach them Proper Arm Mechanics, Foot Placement as well as explosion work. Most people don't realize how important arm movement is when running or how exactly the arms should be moving to help you reach full speed potential. The same goes for your feet. If you're not landing and pushing off correctly you will be much slower.

I was an athlete all through school and college. Speed was not an issue and an area I excelled in.

Speed isn’t just about running fast—it’s about how you move. When young athletes learn proper mechanics early, they build efficiency, reduce injury risk, and develop explosive power that carries over into every sport. Training the right way now sets the foundation for faster, stronger, and more confident performance later.

Getting a little size back šŸ™Œ

Ever trained for years in the gym and started to feel… stiff?

Let’s talk about it.

When you spend a lot of time lifting in a bodybuilding style, your body adapts to controlled, straight-line movements. While that’s great for building strength and muscle, over time it can actually limit how your body moves naturally.

You might notice:
• Feeling tight during everyday movements
• Certain lifts starting to feel awkward
• Less fluidity in your movement overall

That’s where mobility and dynamic training come in.

This is your reminder that mobility work is NOT optional — it’s essential.

And adding in movements that aren’t ā€œtraditionalā€ bodybuilding lifts can be a game changer.
Think:
• Single-leg drop jumps
• Lateral movements
• Rotational exercises
• Explosive work

These movements help your body move the way it was designed to — strong, mobile, and athletic.

Train for strength, but don’t forget to train for movement.

Just a little check-in šŸ¤

Life has been busy lately between training, running The Ice Cream Truck, and baseball season āš¾šŸ¦ā€”so right now, I’m just focused on staying consistent where I can.

Last week, I didn’t always hit my steps. My body was just exhausted, and I had to listen to that. This week has felt so much better—getting my steps in and stacking some solid workouts again.

I’ve also been prioritizing a lot of mobility work—especially for my hips—which has been a game changer in how my body is feeling and moving. It’s not always the flashy work, but it’s the work that matters right now.

My knees are slowly improving šŸ™Œ I’ve been able to add back in a few leg exercises I’ve missed (hello leg press šŸ‘). I’m taking it one step at a time, moving forward with patience, and trusting the process.

Praying that by summer I’ll be back in full swing—lifting strong and sprinting again šŸ’Ŗ BUT peep those arms coming in 😬
