Jog 5 min (I jogged 6)
Definitely getting much better, its never been a my legs are tired issue its an I cant breathe my hearts racing issue. Since ive started running my resting heart rate has improved tremendously and thats one of things I was hoping for and its leveling out much better while im jogging.
Weekly Walk with Faith was a tough one this week. 💔
A few things happened this week that can really make you question things. As a mom, one of my biggest fears is passing before my kids and not getting to watch them grow up. But honestly, I can’t even begin to fathom my children having to grow up without me.
Then you see a family lose both mom and dad, and your heart just shatters. There is no amount of “I’m sorry” that could ever make that kind of loss feel okay. No words can fill that empty space. No words can explain the “why.”
It made me stop and think about how fragile life really is. How quickly everything can change. How much we take tomorrow for granted because we assume it will be there.
This week’s walk wasn’t about having all the answers. It was about walking through the questions, the fear, the sadness and the things I don’t understand—and choosing to still have faith.
Because sometimes faith isn’t believing that nothing bad will happen. Sometimes faith is believing that even when something does happen, God is still there. It may not feel like it and thats ok.
So today, I’m holding my babies a little tighter. I’m praying a little harder. I’m thankful for the ordinary moments that I so often rush through.
And I’m reminding myself to trust God with the things I cannot control.
If you’re going through something that has you questioning your faith, I hope you know you’re not alone. ❤️
Together we pray for The Jenkins Family, we pray the boys hold on to their faith and for God to wrap his arms around them.
