🎣🖤💛 RHHS Bass Fishing Team Takes on the Homecoming Parade! 🖤💛🎣

What a great afternoon for our Richmond Hill High School Bass Fishing Team! Our anglers had such a fun time participating in this year’s Homecoming Parade, representing RHHS Bass Fishing and handing out candy to everyone along the parade route. 🍬🎣

It was awesome watching them interact with our community, share some Wildcat spirit, and simply enjoy being together outside of tournaments and meetings.

Even more special was seeing our veteran anglers alongside several of our new incoming anglers for the season. Experiences like this are what help turn a group of anglers into a TEAM—building friendships, creating memories, and strengthening the bond between teammates. 🖤💛

A BIG THANK YOU to one of our amazing boat captains, Pete, for volunteering his truck and boat for the parade! We truly appreciate our boat captains and parents who give their time and support to help make experiences like this possible for our anglers. 🎣👏

We are so excited about this group and everything this season has in store! Thank you to everyone who came out, cheered them on, and supported our anglers along the parade route!

🎣🏈 HOMEcoming PARADE TOMORROW! 🏈🎣

We’re excited to have our anglers representing the RHHS Bass Fishing Team in the Homecoming Parade tomorrow! 🎉

📍 Staging Location: Boat staging area in the parking lot by the baseball field
⏰ Anglers Meet: 4:00 PM
🎊 Parade Starts: 5:00 PM
🏁 Expected End: Around 6:00 PM, back at the same staging location

🚗 If you are driving: Please park in the parking lot by the tennis courts.

Important reminders:

* Please send all permission forms to Coach Elkins.
* Rich, Tracy, Pete, and Kristina will meet everyone at the staging area.
* 🎉 Bring candy! Anglers are encouraged to bring candy to hand out along the parade route.
* 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 We’d love to see as many parents there as possible to cheer on our anglers!
* 🪑 Feel free to bring chairs and find a spot along the parade route to enjoy the fun.

Let’s come out, represent our team, support our school, and have a great time! 🎣💙

🎣 Passing Along the Knowledge! 🎣

This past Thursday was a great day of learning, teamwork, and a whole lot of fun as our high school anglers met with our middle school anglers for a Knot Class! 🪢🐟

Our high school anglers stepped up to teach the younger anglers some of the essential knots every fisherman needs to know. From learning the basics to getting hands-on and putting those new skills to work, it was awesome to watch our older anglers share their knowledge and encourage the next generation of fishermen.

Not only was it educational, but it was FUN for everyone involved! Seeing our high school anglers take on a leadership role and our middle school anglers eager to learn is exactly what makes this program so special. 💙🎣

We’re proud of our anglers for continuing to build each other up, share their passion, and grow together both on and off the water.

Favorite Lake to Fish & Why: Lake Hartwell because of the schools of spots 🎣💙🎣

Favorite Fishing Tournament Memory: Caught 5 small fish in a Clark’s hill tournament, and in the last hour and a half of the tournament made a 17 mile run to whole other side of the lake, and by the grace of God caught all 5 of our small fish to put us over 10lbs!!!! 💪🏻🎣

One fishing goal for this year: To catch the most fish! 🎣 💙🎣

Favorite Food: Steak 🥩 😊

Favorite Lake to Fish & Why: Lake Lanier because it’s a very well rounded fishery and it’s very beautiful, also did I forget the spotted bass are massive!!! 🎣🎣🎣

Favorite Fishing Tournament Memory: My favorite fishing tournament memory is when me and Griffin qualified at state for nationals and when me and him had big fish at Clark’s hill. 🖤🎣💛

One fishing goal for this year: My goal this year is to qualify for nationals once again and hopefully follow my dreams to fish in college 🎓🎣🏆

Favorite Food: My favorite food is chicken tenders!! 💛

Thank you to everyone who joined us tonight for our first Parent & Angler Meeting of the season! It was great seeing our returning families and welcoming potential new anglers interested in becoming part of the team.

Tonight, we covered general information about the RHHS Bass Fishing Team, including the upcoming tournament schedule, team expectations, important dates, fundraising opportunities, sponsorships, and the sign-up process for new members.

We’re excited about the season ahead and look forward to another great year of fishing, teamwork, and making memories on the water! 🎣🐟

A HUGE thank you to all of the parents who brought food, drinks, and refreshments tonight. Your support and willingness to help make these meetings and our season possible is truly appreciated! ❤️
