As we prepare for the 40th Anniversary Gate To Gate Memorial Run/Walk, please review these key reminders to ensure a smooth, safe, and respectful event for all participants, volunteers, and staff.

📦 Packet Pick-Up
• Eglin AFB Main Exchange Food Court
Thursday, May 14 • 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Friday, May 15, 8 a.m. - 11 a.m.

• Zatitude Luxury Apartments
Freedom Tech Center
Friday, May 15 • 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

• No event‑day packet pick‑up. Please plan ahead.

🚗 Base Access & Traffic
• Reduced driving speed on Eglin Blvd from 0500–1100 for participant and staff safety.
• Allow extra time to enter the installation.
• Registered participants may enter through the East or West Gates.
• Non‑DoW guests must be listed on the EAL — if not listed, entry cannot be permitted.
• We strongly encourage carpooling. Please follow all directions from Security Forces and event staff.

🕒 Race Timing
• We use dynamic timing for the race.
• Age‑category placements may shift until all participants have crossed the finish line.
• Thank you for your patience as we ensure accurate and fair results.

The Gate To Gate Memorial Run/Walk is back for its 40th anniversary on Saturday, May 16, and we're making it a year to remember!

🏃‍♀️ The Run: We're returning to our roots with the historic 4.4-mile gate-to-gate course. Run or walk to honor the fallen and show your support for our service members. This event is a powerful way to pay tribute to our heroes.
