Door County Triathlon

Door County Triathlon Annual triathlon in Door County, Wisconsin The event offers participants a Sprint Distance Triathlon on Saturday and Half Iron Distance Triathlon on Sunday.

The Door County Triathlon (DCT) takes place the third weekend in July each year in Door County, an area popularly known as "the Cape Cod of the Midwest." The capacity for each day is 1,000 participants each day. The two-day capacity is 2,000 triathletes.

🌿 Thank you to the Climate Change Coalition of Door County for helping make the Door County Triathlon a little greener!

Because of the incredible efforts of the Climate Change Coalition and their dedicated volunteers, 1,300 pounds of food waste were diverted from the landfill during this year's race weekend.

Even more impressive, over the past three years, the Door County Triathlon has composted more than 3,500 pounds of food waste!

A huge THANK YOU to all of the Climate Change Coalition volunteers who helped make this possible. Your commitment to sustainability is making a real difference for our community and our environment. 💚♻️
