Effingham Country Club

Effingham Country Club Effingham Country Club is a private, member-owned club. New members are welcome! The club was established in 1923 consisting of nine holes & 100 members.

Since that time, ECC has flourished with numerous rennovations throughout the years. Most recently, a $ 1.8 million rennovation of the back nine was completed in 2008, as well as a # 9 hole reconstruction and several other modifications in 2011.

Like so many across Effingham and the surrounding communities, we are heartbroken by the devastation left behind by the tornado.

Many of us have friends, family members, neighbors, coworkers, and fellow community members who have been affected. While the damage is difficult to comprehend, one thing remains certain: the strength of this community is far greater than any storm.

Time and again, Effingham has shown what makes this area so special. In moments of need, people show up. Neighbors help neighbors. Strangers become friends. Volunteers, first responders, utility crews, churches, businesses, and community organizations come together to support those who need it most.

As recovery efforts continue, our thoughts and prayers are with everyone facing loss, uncertainty, and the difficult work of rebuilding. We are grateful for all those who are lending a hand and demonstrating the resilience, generosity, and compassion that define our community.

Effingham is strong. Together, we will help one another through this and emerge even stronger on the other side. ❤️

Another fantastic summer weekend at Effingham Country Club!

We kicked things off Friday evening with a Patio Party featuring live music from Camden & Max, great weather, and friends gathering to enjoy a summer night at the club.

Saturday brought plenty of laughs and memorable moments during our Wacky Couples Golf event, where creativity and teamwork were on full display across the course.

We wrapped up the weekend on Sunday with the Charlie-Tiger Challenge, as parents teamed up with their children for a fun scramble tournament filled with family competition, encouragement, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Weekends like these are what ECC is all about—bringing family and friends together to create lasting memories. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

What a weekend at the Koerner Member-Member!

A huge thank you to Koerner Distributor for sponsoring another fantastic tournament. With 148 players in the field, great competition, plenty of laughs, and beautiful weather, this year's event was one to remember.

Weekend Highlights: Ella Niebrugge rolled in a 50' putt on #18 Saturday to win Longest Putt honors. Bob Walls holed out from 135 yards on #17 during Day 1!

Congratulations to all of our winners, and thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the weekend such a success. The Member-Member continues to be one of the best traditions at ECC!
