The Ron Diehl Rec Center will be closed on Monday, April 27th.
The batting cages will be closed the remainder of the week.

🛹SKATE PARK GRAND OPENING! 🛹

Thank you to all the people who made this happen. Thank you to the Effingham County Chamber for joining our ribbon cutting this morning.

The Effingham Park District would like to express our immense gratitude to local skater and leader, D-no Tull. Deano has been skating, teaching, working, and mentoring at this park for years. He has led the charge in making this skate park and the Effingham skateboarding community into something special that we can all be proud of. From the creation and cultivation of the Ham City Jam, to the constant mentoring and teaching young skaters, to the completion of this skate park renovation, he continues to give back to this sport and this community. If he can dream it, he can do it. We can’t wait to see what he dreams up next.
