HOLIDAY REMINDER: City Hall and our Public Works business offices will be closed Monday, September 7, for the Labor Day holiday. Our normal hours resume at 8 a.m. Tuesday, September 8. If you need to pay your water/trash collection bill, you can do that online 24 hours a day: https://edwardsvilleileerp.municipalonlinepayments.com/edwardsvilleileerp
REPUBLIC SERVICES: There will be no trash or recycling collection on Labor Day (Monday, September 7). Instead, all routes for that week will be delayed by one day.
✅ Monday's pickups will happen on Tuesday.
✅ Tuesday's pickups move to Wednesday.
✅ Wednesday's pickups move to Thursday.
✅ Thursday's pickups move to Friday.
✅ Friday's pickups will happen on Saturday.
We want to express our gratitude for our employees (and all others) for whom Labor Day remains a day of labor, including our police and fire personnel!

We were honored last night to award a family with 6 Quilt of Valors. Colonel Susan D retired from the Air Force (1981-2007);Her sister Lieutenant Colonel Jennie H from the Air Force (1982-2011); Jennie's husband Colonel William H from the Air Force (1985-2015); Susan's children, Captain Kaiden D, in Space Force (2020-present) and Lieutenant Kira M, in Coast Guard (2018-present); and Kira's husband Lieutenant Commander Miles M, in Coast Guard (2015-present). Thank you for your service.
