The 25-26 Swim and Dive season came to a close at the ISDA All-State Banquet! We celebrated our honorees: Girls 200 medley relay (Scout, Greta, Reilly, Grace) - 2nd team, Girls 50 Free (Grace Oertle) - Honorable Mention, Boys Diving (Derek Ruehl) - Honorable Mention, Boys 500 Free (Jackson Suhre) - Honorable Mention, Girls 200 Free Relay (Scout, Greta, Laine, Grace) - 2nd team, Girls 100 Back (Scout Jackson) - Honorable Mention, Girls 400 Free Relay (Laine, Scout, Reilly, Grace) - Honorable Mention. Special recognition to Justin Thompson as Girls and Boys Sectional Dive Coach of the Year and Christian Rhoten as Girls Sectional Swim Coach of the Year. What a great way to end a memorable season!

The 25-26 Boys Swim and Dive season came to a close at our banquet tonight! It was fantastic to see these hardworking guys recognized for their efforts.

The 2026 Boys Swim and Dive season has come to a close! Derek Ruehl placed 16th in diving and Jackson Suhre 16th in the 500 free. These guys made history this weekend and we're beyond proud. What a way to wrap up the season!

Day 1 of the IHSA State Meet brought us 2 historic finishes for the team! Diver Derek Ruehl becomes the first boys diver to final at the state meet in program history! Sophomore Jackson Suhre became only the 2nd boys swimmer in team history to final at the State meet in the 500 free (or any other freestyle event) dropping 4.5 seconds from his sectional swim to place 16th. These guys came in and fought hard at one of the toughest high school swim meets in the country! Special shoutout to seniors Andre Myers and Bryce Seymour who swam their last events for the team today. They will be missed but will do amazing things in their next chapters of life. We are officially competing on Saturday!

History made! Senior Derek Ruehl is an IHSA Swim and Dive State finalist, currently 15th after 8 dives. Finals start tomorrow 2/28 at 11am

The Boys are on site, gearing up for the best high school state meet in the country! Diving starts tomorrow (Friday 2/27) at 9:00am, swimming at 3:30pm

Huge congratulations to Georgia Samet on getting accepted to the US Military Academy West Point! Her hard work and perseverance have paid off and we couldn’t be more proud!

EHS Boys Swim and Dive takes 2nd in a close Sectional meet qualifying 7 athletes in 8 events for the IHSA State Meet. Top 6 finishes include 200 medley relay 1st, 200 free - Jackson Suhre 2nd, 200 IM - Mason Voss 1st, Dive - Derek Ruehl 1st, Zach Majors 4th, 100 fly - Andre Myers 1st, 500 free - Jackson Suhre 1st, 200 free relay 2nd, 100 back - Andre Myers 1st, 100 breast - Mason Voss 1st, 400 free relay 2nd
