Problems are opportunities for growth and knowledge…

Jiu Jitsu is one of the greatest teachers you can have. It will give you the chance to learn exactly what it is you need to learn to start taking leaps forward. Not what you want to learn, but what you need to learn. And this has nothing to do with techniques..

Training Jiu Jitsu will teach you things such as:

✅ Consistency
✅ Time management
✅ How to work with others
✅ To keep going despite obstacles
✅ How to take problems and reframe them

Tonight our team worked hard, struggled, and overcame. There is no growth without something to learn or overcome. This is how we become better Jiu Jitsu practitioners and better individuals.

Our Youth Program consists of 4 Major Age Groups:

Little Champions 4-6yo
Junior Champions 7-9yo
Youth Core 10-11yo
Teens 12yo+

Even classes that merge all age groups (Fundamentals and Bully Proof) we’re able to keep the kids working with others closer to their age and size. While keeping in mind it’s important for younger kids to work with older kids on occasion, as many times a bully may be bigger/older.

Being able to separate the kids into specific age groups also allows us to teach techniques and build a curriculum suitable for each stage. We do allow some flexibility where some kids will stay in one group and some will jump ahead. This is largely based on experience, size, and work ethic.

We’re intentional with our coaching. Where some may see managed chaos, we see kids building athleticism through specific exercise, focus through carefully crafted repetition, and camaraderie through triumph over strategically placed adversity.
