Why choose Edwardsburg Youth Wrestling Club? It's not too late to join us!

- We have 8 adult coaches and multiple high school wrestlers and former club wrestlers at each practice!

- We've grown from 15 participants to nearly 100 registered wrestlers!

- In the 2023-2024 season, the EYWC had a record 21 MYWAY state qualifiers!

- In the 2023-2024 season, the EYWC was 3rd in the region for most pins and 2nd for most tech falls out of 53 clubs!

- At the 2023-2024 MYWAY State Championships, the EYWC finished 37th in team scoring out of 240 Michigan wrestling clubs represented!

- Our club hosts multiple affordable clinics and camps with WORLD CLASS wrestlers. Past clinics hosted by the EYWC have included: Max Dean (2X NCAA Champion, 4X All-American)

Club Info:

Edwardsburg Wrestling Club is for wrestlers from 4 years old (assuming they are ready for organized practice) through 8th grade.

Our coaching philosophy is this:
Kids have to love it to learn it, and learn it to excel at it. We promote a safe, encouraging, and exciting environment.

Wrestling is an aggressive sport, and we work with our wrestlers to develop controlled, sport specific physicality and technique. Learning this way will help your child improve in EVERY sport they play.

We will have our parent meeting on Wednesday, November 6th at the former church located on the south side of US-12 just west of town. We'll meet at 7:00pm and keep the meeting to 30 minutes or less.

Immediately following the parent meeting for those interested in sticking around for an additional 30 minutes— we'll do a scoring and fundamentals clinic for parents who may be new to wrestling. This is for parents, not wrestlers. We'll have plenty of time to bring our new wrestlers up to speed during practices 🙂

We'll show you basic positions, match sequence, and scoring. You'll leave the clinic at least knowing when to cheer and what you're cheering for!
