Player Development focusing on proper warmups followed by a Guided, Competition Appropriate Scrimmage. Suggested ages are 8-12

Yellow Jackets Sandlot Knights

Tomorrow Night, Wednesday, 7/27, 6PM-8PM, North Henderson Knights Baseball Field

We want to invite the neighborhood youth out for the 1st of hopefully many Sandlot Knights. Preferred ages would be 12 years of age and younger.

With a focus on Player Development, Scrimmage Play, and Community Growth, our hopes are to grow baseball in our neighborhood and use it as a means to strengthen it as well.

As baseball grows, we will continue to work towards creating age and competition specific teams. It starts with building participation at our Sandlot Knights, so bring a friend!

Bring all necessary baseball equipment, catchers bring gear, pitchers be prepared to pitch, parents be prepared to volunteer.

We are seeking 10u and 11u Eligible Baseball Players

You are 10u Eligible if you were born After 5/1/2012

You are 11u Eligible if you were born between 5/1/11 and 4/30/12

Yellow Jackets Tryouts, Wednesday, July 6th, 5 PM at North Henderson Knights Baseball Field. This will be the 2nd of 3 Tryouts/Open House Dates.

Our first Tryout drew 18 Players. We went to use these three dates to generate interest in the neighborhood and we'll respond accordingly based on numbers and competition level.

Right now, we want to invite all 11u and 10u eligible ball players.

See you July 6th!

Promising turnout for our 1st Edneyville Yellow Jackets Baseball Club Tryout/Open House; 18 Players!

We got a good look at some of the young talent in our neighborhood at the 10 and 11U levels while packing a ton of Player Development into 2 hours

Our next Tryout/Open House for the 10u/11u Level will be on Wednesday July 6th at North Henderson Knights Baseball Field. I'll get a new flier out tomorrow. This will be the 2nd of 3 Tryout/Open House dates

Depending on the numbers, competitiveness, and ages of the players will determine whether we will create a 10U, 11U, or teams for both age groups for the Aug to Oct Calendar.
