Be Grateful to Your Teacher

I heard this
"My　Sensei said I could take the Dan Exam, but I failed."
Is the teacher bad?
Didn't your Sensei acknowledge that you met the Exam criteria and practiced diligently, and that's why they gave you permission to take the Exam?
That doesn't guarantee passing.
Some people may have a high chance of failing.
However, even if you fail, didn't your Sensei acknowledge your efforts and give you the opportunity to take the Exam?
Do you feel grateful to the Sensei who gave you that opportunity?
Your teacher acknowledged your efforts, and you completed the Exam to the end.
That alone is wonderful.
It will surely be a valuable experience that will greatly benefit your future life.
If you don't want to pay, you don't have to take the exam.
If you don't want to fail, you don't have to take the exam.
The final decision of whether or not to take the exam is yours.
I believe that if you are grateful to your Sensei and approach the Exam with that in mind, you will surely pass.
