This year, I have made a difficult, yet necessary decision to leave the YMCA after teaching ITF TaeKwonDo for @ 18 years. Mitch Park YMCA is a wonderful facility and family-oriented organization. For those who do not know, I'm going through another chemotherapy, unable to add news students, and unable to keep up the pace. We found a great instructor, Bekah Graham from Regenade Martial Arts, to take my place. She has energy, works well the the students and will be an awesome replacement!
A few parents checked on locations to continue teaching my intermediate and advanced students one night/week. A door opened up when I was looking for a replacement instructor at Edmond Martial Arts Academy. The owner (Brian) offered me a space to teach on Thursday nights! OMG!!! My goal is to eventually promote the students going with me to Black Belt/First Dan and Mr. McFarland and Mr. Koloen to 2nd Dan.

Good news! The chemo is working, and hopefully only one more cycle of 3 weeks!
