Creek Classic is an annual event that is a district wide fundraiser for Deer Creek Schools. However, this year Creek Classic is excited to partner with the Regional Food Bank and their program, Food for Kids Backpack Program. By doing this, we will be able to help provide food to thousands of local students each year. This year, Creek Classic will donate a portion of the money raised to this amazi

ng program. Also, as our district continues to grow, so does the need for educational items to help our schools, students and teachers. In Deer Creek, our goal is to continue to strive for academic excellence and achieve top API Scores from the state. In the past, the money raised from this event has helped our schools purchase items like iPads, smart boards, text books, library books, mobile lap top computers, continuing education for teachers, playground equipment, software, sound systems and much more.

Due to declining participation and challenges in coordination, the Creek Classic will not be held for the 2019-2020 school year. The District will continue to review how to best provide future events and community opportunities.

Due to inclement weather and today's school closings, the packet pick-up scheduled for today (2/28/19) at Red Coyote has been cancelled. You can pick up your race packets tomorrow (3/1/19) at the PAAC from 2pm - 7pm and at DCIS on race day. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Race day is upon us!

Reminder that packet pickup will be (today) Friday March 2nd from 2PM-7PM at the PAC (Performing Art's Center) located on MacArthur between the Freshman Academy and the Intermediate school.

Tomorrow race day the road in front of the Intermediate School will close off. Parking will be at the PAC. The fun run begins at 8:30AM and the 5K/10K will kick off at 9:00 AM.

Also remember to stop by the cafeteria and enjoy your free pancake breakfast provided by the Cross Country team!
