Our featured camp of the week is one of our all time favorites.....

CAMP YELLOWSTONE!

Spend a week this summer like a cowboy or cowgirl at Silver Wind Stables with our Yellowstone Summer Camp!

Inspired by the cowboy lifestyle and the spirit of the ranch, this camp is perfect for riders who love horses, the outdoors, and adventure. Campers will spend the week learning real ranch-style skills while building confidence, horsemanship, and teamwork in a fun and hands-on environment.

One of the most special parts of Yellowstone Camp is that each camper will be assigned their very own horse for the entire week — no sharing horses here! Campers will be responsible for tending to their horse daily, including grooming, tacking up, feeding, basic care, and building a true partnership with their horse throughout the week.

Throughout camp, riders will enjoy trail riding across more than 1,000 beautiful acres, learning basic roping skills, participating in ranch-style games and challenges, caring for horses, and experiencing what life on the ranch is all about. Campers will experience riding adventures such as finding a lost calf, riding out on the ranch for a picnic lunch, and more.

With both indoor and outdoor arenas, plus endless room to ride and explore, every day is packed with riding, learning, and unforgettable summer memories led by experienced instructors.

🐴 Lease Horse Spotlight: His Street Kid (“Kid”) 🐴

We’re excited to introduce Kid’s new lease partner, Lige! These two have already made a great team, and we can’t wait to watch their partnership continue to grow.

Kid is known for his kind, steady, and easygoing personality, making him the perfect horse to help build confidence while creating a fun and rewarding riding experience.

When asked what he loves most about Kid, Lige said, “He has the smoothest trot and is so soft.” ❤️

Together, this team has already qualified for Nationals with the Youth Ranch Rodeo Association and is working toward becoming a finalist with the Edmond Jr. Round Up Club. We’re excited to see what they accomplish next, so be sure to keep an eye out for them in the arena!

Join our riding camp to increase your riding skills!
If you have taken riding lessons for awhile, and can walk/trot/lope- this is your chance to join a camp designed for riders like you!

Our Western Riding Summer Camp will help you build confidence, improve horsemanship skills, and spend their days riding across more than 1,000 beautiful acres. Campers will enjoy a full week of hands-on riding instruction focused on western disciplines, trail riding, horse care, and developing a stronger partnership with their horse.

With both indoor and outdoor arenas, riders will have the opportunity to learn and ride in a variety of settings while staying comfortable in changing weather conditions. Each day is packed with riding, learning, and fun in a supportive barn environment led by experienced instructors.
