FITCAMP Family,
This is the hardest post I’ve ever made in my life.
Sixteen years ago, I started a bootcamp in the park with a flyer, a headlamp, a dream, and a belief that fitness could change lives from the inside out.
That small beginning became FITCAMP 180 and grew into so much more than a gym. It became a home. A family. A place where people found strength, healing, friendship, purpose, confidence, and faith.
Together we celebrated victories.
Together we carried each other through heartbreak.
Together we sweated, laughed, cried, prayed, fought battles, and refused to quit.
Think of all the friendships made inside these walls— I can’t imagine life without them!
Every wall in this place holds a memory for me.
Every class carries a story.
Every early morning, every late night, every drop of sweat, every sacrifice — it all mattered.
Sunday, at 4 p.m., I’d love for anyone who has ever been a part of this journey to come be with us one last time as we say goodbye to the place that changed so many of our lives.
This isn’t just closing the doors to a building.
It’s honoring 16 years of blood, sweat, tears, prayers, and love.
I will forever be grateful for every single person who walked through those doors and allowed FITCAMP 180 to become what it became.
We will be closed for classes on Saturday.
We know this last workout falls on Mother’s Day. But we’ve tried to make this at a time where you can still have your Mother’s Day celebrations. We will also be honoring our moms like we’ve always done. And we will have a plan for transition that we will share on Sunday and be able to answer your questions.
If this place ever impacted your life in any way, I’d love to see you there.
One final throw down.
One final message.
One final get together.
One final rip.
With all my heart,
-Shawn Busby
