Metuchen Golf and Country Club was built in 1915 and originally designed as 9 holes by the golf professional and greenskeeper, Charles Lang. The full 18 holes were completed in 1931. Please do not be overconfident when you see the yardage. At 6766 yards from the championship tees, our well guarded greens and tree lined, narrow fairways with stingy rough provide plenty of challenges for players of

all skill levels. Our signature hole, #14, has our famous Metuchen tree in the center of the fairway at about 160 yards. With a wide landing area, you must decide which side of the tree to play your tee shot to and then you must negotiate our green side pond before attempting to putt on a very difficult green to read. The course is always in outstanding shape and considered some of the best in the state due to the fine work of our superintendent, Jason Osterhoudt, and his crew. Metuchen Golf and Country Club is truly a hidden gem!

A special evening at MGCC as we celebrated the grand opening and dedication of Camp’s Corner, honoring longtime member David Campion. As a Past President and Greens Chairman, David’s leadership, vision, and dedication have helped shape and strengthen our club in countless ways, and we are proud to recognize his lasting impact with a place that will be enjoyed for years to come.

A sincere thank you to MGCC President Neil Curcio for his leadership, and to Past President John Luciano, whose vision helped bring this project to life. We also extend our gratitude to our Board of Directors, contributors, employees, and everyone involved in making this beautiful new addition to our club a reality!

Today, on Peace Officers Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities and our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

Our ladies and guests enjoyed an evening filled with fun, laughter, and learning- from great tips and instruction from our talented golf professionals to getting out on the course to hit some balls before heading back for a delicious dinner together.
