Two distinct worlds in South Texas wrestling are joining forces.

When CAPW General Manager Casey Cantu realized it had been nearly a year since Fortuna Wrestling last ran a show, a conversation with Danny Chance set things in motion. One phone call to Fortuna founder Alvaro Rio later, a major collaboration was born.

Citrus All-Pro Wrestling and Fortuna Wrestling are coming together at Citrus Live Theater for a special joint event. Lucha libre meets deep South Texas culture, drawing inspiration from the generational folklore and stories that must not die.

We had the opportunity to help welcome Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide to Edinburg and get Citrus Live ready for their visit.

Seeing AAA show the venue and the city some love on their official channels was a special moment for all of us.

Thank you to Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and the entire team for showing Citrus Live and Edinburg some love this weekend.

CAPW is proud to call this building home, and seeing our little corner of South Texas on AAA’s official channels is pretty damn cool.
