Hello Everyone!! Its been a long time since I have posted anything on this page. I have kept my Pulse Studio page open in hopes to stay in contact with all of you to one day inform you of another studio opening...well nothing as of yet but I want to remind you that I still have my Total Body Sculpt class on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Mcdowell Intermediate High School Dance Studio.

New session starts March 22nd and last about 10 weeks. This program is run throught Millcreek Parks and Recreation and the cost in unbeatable!! Millcreek Township residents pay $40 for 10 weeks and Non-Millcreek Township residents pay $60 That is a steal!! Please message me if you are interested.

How Better Sleep Helps Your Waistline

1.It helps you eat less: Sleep affects levels of the hunger-regulating hormone leptin, which helps your body realize it's full, and ghrelin, which stimulates appetite. Not getting adequate sleep lowers levels of leptin while raising levels of ghrelin, which can cause overeating when you're sleep-deprived. A recent study found that women who didn't sleep enough ate an average of 300 more calories than those who got adequate sleep.

2.It reduces belly fat: Anxiety and stress are two major contributors to belly fat; getting enough sleep is one way to beat both.

3.It may suppress fat genes: A recent study found that women who slept seven to nine hours a night weighed less than those who were sleep-deprived; researchers believe that those who slept fewer than seven hours a night (or, interestingly, more than nine) were more affected by any genetic predispositions to be overweight or obese.

4.It gives you energy: If you've gotten a good night's rest, then you're more likely to have the energy to tackle your workout for the day. And, since exercise helps you sleep, revamping your sleeping habits can be the start of a beneficial cycle.

Starting the second week of November I will be offering on Wednesdays at the university (same studio location) another day to get some cardio and conditioning in!! The time will most likely be 5:00. I will do some TABATA, Kickboxing and Ive been working on some "flirty" fitness dances!! Text me or fb message me if your interested in attending. This class will be a drop in rate of $6 so no sign up required (only a waiver for new clients)
