This week, we’re highlighting ColorFixx — Personal Color Consultant and Edina resident Haley Armstrong, helping people feel more confident and intentional in what they wear.
Tell us about your business — what do you do?
I’m a personal color consultant. I advise women and men on what colors they should wear and buy for clothing, makeup, and accessories. This process quickly becomes an essential tool for my clients — decisions become easier and clearer, self-doubt falls aside, and intention sets in.
What inspired you to start it?
I started ColorFixx after having my colors done — it really inspired me. I had always wanted to start something for myself, and it clicked that I could really help others too.
What’s something people might not know about your brand?
My favorite offering that people are unaware of is team building and corporate events. If your team is tired of forced icebreakers or traditional workshops, this is the perfect alternative. A ColorFixx event gives people something to talk about right away.
What does being part of the SWEAT community mean to you?
Being a part of the SWEAT community is my cup filler! I mostly attend the 8:30 a.m. classes — I get in and out, but always with a laugh, chatting with friends and teasing Katherine until her big laugh comes out.
Favorite SWEAT class?
STRONG Fridays at 6am.
Favorite SWEAT instructor?
I love all the instructors — I get real variety from them, which brings me back every week.
Where can people find or support you?
I’m an independent, female business owner — not a franchise with a large marketing budget — so referrals are my best compliment and source of revenue.
