Big shout out to Wardway Fuels + Grill, Pool & Hearth Shop!! We had a pool pump go out overnight Friday & they were the only store in the entire Tri-State with one on hand on a Saturday! Thank you for saving swim lessons for the week!🩵💦 If you haven’t visited their store, I highly recommend doing so! They’ve been a West Side staple for as long as I can remember. 🙏

✨ Meet Ama ✨

Sweet. Joyful. Full of excitement. And she absolutely loves the water. 💙

Ama also has autism, and like every child, she learns in her own unique way.

Survival swim lessons for children with autism don’t always follow the same path as they might for other children. Some children need more time to process new skills, some benefit from consistent routines, while others may need lessons adapted to fit their sensory needs or communication style. Progress can look different from child to child, and that’s okay.

At Tri State Survival Swim, Coach Lauren meets each child where they are. By building trust, creating a calm and supportive environment, and celebrating every small victory, she’s helping Ama develop the skills she needs to be safer in and around the water.

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn lifesaving water safety skills in a way that works for them. There is no one-size-fits all approach, and every milestone is worth celebrating.
