We are still in need of head coaches for the following groups.

Coach Needs: 9
Girls - 1 coach (10u and 12u mix)
6U coed - 1 coach
8U coed - 2 coaches
12U Boys - 4 coaches
14U Boys - 1 coach

These roles desperately need to be filled today or we will have to start looking at scaling back teams. Remember all of SRYA is volunteer run. Without parents stepping up to help we can’t get it done.

Spring Flag update- we have 230 players and 26 teams this spring. Our biggest season yet!!! Apologies to those who were not able to get registered. With field space constraints we ended up having to close registration a little earlier than planned.

There were a few players on waitlists who received offers to join teams, we are aware of the issue with accepting and we are working on it.

First practices will be March 27, there will be no activities the following week due to spring break. The season kicks into full swing with practices and games starting April 10th. All practices and games will be held at Edgewater Park.

With limited parking at this site please utilize the elementary school as overflow. There is no parking in the surrounding neighborhoods. With this volume please plan to arrive early as it will be crowded during change overs.

If you are interested in coaching please sign up at SRYA.org. We still need 11 more head coaches and assistants are always needed. Rosters should be released this coming week.

Spring Flag Update: Currently at 20 teams (only 10 coaches!!!!)
We are experiencing big numbers this spring! Due to this we have had to set limits on remaining registration spots. Don't wait another minute to sign up, these spots are filling fast. Here is what we can still accomodate:
-6U and 8U are full. (We will be combining boys and girls at both ages.
10UB- 8 spots
10UG-11 spots
12UB- 7 spots
12UG- 1 spot
14UB- 3 spots
14UG- 14 spots. (Currently only 2 registered, need minimum 16 to field this age group.

Once a group is filled we will go to a waitlist. Due to field constraints we cannot guarantee waitlisted players will be placed on a team.

Extended registration!!! Flag football registration is open for one more day for anyone who missed the deadline. We have open spots available at all age groups EXCEPT 12U and 14U.

Registration will close Monday, August 11, at 10pm. Rosters will be finalized and released Tuesday after noon/evening.
