Meet Ella Stone, serving Newberry, Aiken, and surrounding areas (GZ 1–4) with her dogs Ray & Riot. Ella grew up bowhunting with her dad and knows the frustration of losing deer. That experience inspired her to start tracking so other hunters wouldn’t have to go through the same heartache.

Slapped some 75lb mods on a Mathew’s V3 27 and built some black eagle rampage arrows at 525 grains. This thing is sick. One of the best bows Mathew’s made in my opinion.

Deer tracking dogs are invaluable when a deer has been shot, but the hunter can’t find it.

It’s getting late in the season and I was a little short on meat so when we left out yesterday, we decided we weren’t going to let much walk. Conlee sent me to a spot he scouted and this buck gave me a shot right before dark. Bowhunting is what I love to do and being able to share it with a good friend makes it even better. This is what it’s all about.

It’s crazy to think how many deer are lost because we don’t find blood and assume we missed. This deer may have went to waste if it wasn’t for this dog. Hunting isn’t always pretty, we all will make a bad shot at some point or another but we owe it to the deer to give it our best effort to recover them. Ella and Ray can give you the best odds at recovering your deer. What they are doing is an awesome thing and I’m proud to call Ella and her family my friends.

The hunter reached out and told me he shot a nice buck and was positive he hit him, but he never could find any blood. He told me he grid searched for about an hour. After finding no blood or any sign of the deer, he decided to reach out for a dog. I arrived shorty after the call and let Ray go where he believed the hit site was. Ray made a few circles at hit site then proceeded the way the hunter told me he ran. After exactly 3 minutes and 150 yards, Ray was standing over this nice buck. There was absolutely no blood other than where the deer was laying. I’m so glad the hunter decided to trust his gut and reach out for help. Congratulations Jackson Smith on this awesome buck! Thank you for trusting me and Ray!
