For those of you who seek to hear and be a part of the discussion about the state and future of Correllus State Forest - please attend this meeting Thursday night at the high school performing arts center @ 5pm. We look forward to having an open meeting with all cyclist soon thereafter in case you miss the meeting. We’ll provide you information from the meeting and seek to gather your feedback. We also look to share some of our winter plans as we ramp up for a much more active 2025 season!

NEMBA Trail Riders! We're happy to announce some upcoming events bringing bike enthusiasts together this summer and fall. We're also looking to collaborate with other like-minded groups and businesses that support all cycling on the island and work together. If you are interested in helping as a business, core group member, or simply looking to cruise the trails while supporting a great organization, we'd love to hear from you.

A note from NEMBA's Executive Director:

Dear NEMBA Community,

This has been an incredibly hard decision to make; I have let the Board of Directors know that I will be transitioning out of my role as Executive Director later this year. My time at NEMBA has been extremely rewarding and I am thoroughly impressed with the progress we have made. We have been focusing on Trails, Advocacy, and Community as we work towards our vision of making mountain biking accessible and welcoming to all. I remain committed to leading NEMBA through this transition and continuing to support staff and chapters, as well as the return of NEMBAfest.

While New England and mountain biking remain strong passions of mine, I must put family first. My wife has received a job offer that will relocate us this summer. I have confidence in the great Regional NEMBA team we’ve built, as well as the many talented and dedicated chapter leaders, to continue the strong progress we’ve been making.

The Board of Directors is forming a search committee and I will assist in this process in whatever capacity desired. Keep an eye out for a job posting and spread the word to those who want a challenging, yet rewarding dream job!

I want to thank the whole NEMBA community for this amazing opportunity. I have greatly enjoyed meeting, riding, and getting to know so many of you. NEMBA is an impressive organization built on the efforts of engaged volunteers. This year is NEMBA’s 35th anniversary. It is truly remarkable what has been accomplished and what is in the works for the future. I look forward to celebrating with you at NEMBAfest this August.

This is a really fun event! I’ve been involved 5 years with it- worth the trip up north!!

The Rasputitsa Spring Classic is a gravel bicycle race in Vermont in April. Two courses distances and a thriving community atmosphere make this gravel event for all bikes and all people.
