WWF members, the range will be closed tomorrow, August 2, 2026 from 12 P.M. to 10 P.M. The National Weather Service issued a red flag warning for the upper valley, including the WWF property. We were informed by the County that we need to shut down the range for this prescribed period. The main gate and side walk-in gate will both be locked in the morning and we will reopen the range on Monday morning.

Online purchasing of range passes has gone live. You should be able to buy a pass at the gate. However, service up there is spotty so it is best to buy your pass in advance.

We are going live with the electronic gate today. So if you are going to the range make sure you have your pass because your gate code is on the back. There is a green checkmark in the lower right corner that you need to push after entering your code.

Buying passes online at the gate is not live yet. That is the last piece we are still working.

Range is open again. The red flag warning has been lifted. The gate has been unlocked.

We just wanted to give a huge thank you to Hunter Liddel from troop 129, located up in the Ogden Valley, for replacing all of the carpet on the shooting benches. He did this for his eagle project. They did a fantastic job. Also a huge thank you to all the volunteers they came up to help him with the project.

Thank you,
Weber wildlife Federation Board

The range is open. Here are a few things to note:

The porta potties have been ordered but have not been delivered yet.

The electronic gate is in and operational but we are waiting until you can purchase passes online to activate it. We are in the final stages of getting payments accepted on the website. Once we can accept payments online, you will be able to buy a pass at the gate.

We will be closing the range on Saturday May 2nd for an Eagle Scout project. Hunter Liddel from troop 129, located up in the Ogden Valley, will be replacing all of the carpet on the shooting blocks. It will be closed all day to give the glue time to cure.

Please be safe, respectful, follow the range rules (posted on website), and pick up your trash.

Regards,
Weber wildlife Federation Board
