For various reasons in the 1981 - 1982 season the club fizzled out. As a result of the increased interest by local snowmobile enthusiasts, the club was brought back to life in March of 1996. Since our first meeting in 1996, the club has gained permission of local land owners to use and maintain over 30 miles of previously neglected trials. These miles include Corridor C4A, Secondary S40D (formerly

C4P), Secondary S40C, and Secondary S42B & S42C of the New York State Trail System. By maintaining our section of trails, we are helping to make snowmobiling a safer community sport. If you are interested in knowing more about the club, please feel free call any of our officers or board members or even sit in on a meeting and enjoy the club's hospitality. Meetings are held at 8:00pm on the 2nd Thursday of every month at the Eden VFW Post, located on March Road in Eden.

You're probably asking yourself, "What's that?" Well, this is the famous North Collins Stake Hut. It's been around for awhile and it was recently moved to a location that's easier to access and is less muddy. Just another small example of the off-season work that goes on. Anyway, we'd love to see you at the meeting at 8 PM tonight. And thanks to Stefan Hay Co. for bringing the machine to pickup and move the hut. They are always willing to help out when asked in addition to being one of our landowners.

Our first club meeting for the 26/27 season is tomorrow, Thursday, August 13th at 8 PM at the Eden VFW. If you want to find out what really goes into keeping our trails going, come to the meeting. If you have asked how you can help or offered services, come to the meeting. And we're still looking to fill a vacant position on the Board of Directors.

There really is no "off season" for sled clubs even if it's been a while since we've posted. Here's Boozer grinding stumps in North Collins to make the trails smoother. Enjoy the video. It's kind of hypnotic.

**UPDATE** We are having a work detail on WEDNESDAY morning this week starting at 10 AM. Not Tuesday, sorry for any confusion. We will be focusing on painting the new stakes we got for next season. Our club buildings are behind the Eden VFW.
