12u Dawgs are starting to gel! Jace Sands led the weekend with 8 hits & 9 rbi's, his bat is still scorching! That makes 15 RBI's in 2 tournaments, which leads the team, followed closely by another hot bat, Mannix Collins who has 13! Melo Hairston also had a great weekend at the dish picking up 6 hits! One of our new Dawgs Easton Kennon had a solid weekend at the plate, racking up 5 hits and led the team with a .750 obp. Two more of our new players Kingston Carter and Blake Trant tallied their first hits of the season!! Team win for sure! We utilized 9 different pitchers throughout the weekend registering an overall era of 1.8, only allowing 8 walks. Thomas Pratt and Mannix Collins shared the biggest load coming in during some tough spots and stranding 14 baserunners! Catchers only allowed 4 stolen bases. One of our new Catchers,Declan Hunsucker, hosed his 1st runner attempting to take 2nd this weekend. Keep working boys, lots of promise moving forward!

12u's first tournament. 3-1 for the weekend, boys really crushed the ball, racking up 43 hits in 14 innings. Working to knock the dust off of our defense before our next event! Wyatt Goins and Jace Sands were unstoppable in the batters box for the tournament. Wyatt led the team with 9 hits including a Long Bomb! Jace led the team with a jaw dropping 2.7 OPS for the tournament which included 3 home runs. Jace also led the team with 9 RBI's. The overall team's batting average was .500. Keep working boys, this is only the beginning!!

12u bats on fire for their 1st game of the season. Cam Behe hit a 2 run Home Run and Jace Sands hit a GRAND SLAM!! Bats were on fire! 15 hits in 3 innings, Lets go!

Jace’s Big Day Propels PH GunDawgs 12U Past Dirtbags-Brookshire 12U

Jace S drove in five runs on three hits to lead PH GunDawgs 12U past Dirtbags-Brookshire 12U 19-2 on Saturday at 599 Farmington Rd. Jace S hit a grand slam to center field in the third inning, scoring four runs, and doubled in the second inning, scoring one.

PH GunDawgs 12U won thanks in part to 11 runs in the third inning. Greyson Y singled, scoring two runs, Dawson B induced Easton K to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, an error scored one run, Jace S hit a grand slam to center field, Collin B singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and Mannix C drew a walk, scoring one run.

PH GunDawgs 12U opened the scoring in the first after Collin B doubled, scoring two runs.

Dirtbags-Brookshire 12U scored one run in the bottom of the first on a solo home run to center field by Tolbert G.

PH GunDawgs 12U added six more runs in the top of the second inning on six hits. Mannix C singled, scoring two runs, Cam B homered to center field, scoring two runs, Jace S doubled, scoring one run, and Wyatt G singled, scoring one run.

Greyson Y earned the win for PH GunDawgs 12U. The hurler allowed three hits and two runs (one earned) over one and one-third innings, striking out one and walking one. Wilder H took the loss for Dirtbags-Brookshire 12U. The hurler went two-thirds of an inning, surrendering three runs (one earned) on two hits, striking out one and walking three. Joey H led things off on the bump for Dirtbags-Brookshire 12U. The hurler gave up nine hits and eight runs over two innings, striking out none and walking none. Cam B pitched one and two-thirds innings of no-run ball for PH GunDawgs 12U in relief. The pitcher surrendered zero hits, striking out one and walking none.

PH GunDawgs 12U tallied 15 hits in the game. Jace S and Wyatt G were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for PH GunDawgs 12U while hitting back-to-back. Thomas P, Collin B, and Mannix C each collected multiple hits for PH GunDawgs 12U. Jace S stole two bases. PH GunDawgs 12U ran wild on the base paths, accumulating seven stolen bases for the game.

Dawson B, Landon B, and Tolbert G each collected one hit for Dirtbags-Brookshire 12U. Tolbert G and Joey H each drove in one run for Dirtbags-Brookshire 12U.

Next up for PH GunDawgs 12U is a game at Extreme Performance 2033 12U on Saturday.

The GunDawgs Baseball team will proudly represent our community at the Opening Ceremonies at Cooperstown Dreams Park! ⚾ What an incredible experience for these young athletes as they join teams from across the country to celebrate the game they love.

This week is about more than baseball... it's about making lifelong memories, building friendships, and competing on one of youth baseball's biggest stages. We couldn't be more proud of our players, coaches, and families!
