We are incredibly proud of every athlete who represented Morehead Track & Field this season. From hard practices to long meet days, this team showed dedication, resilience, and heart every single step of the way. The success of this program is built on commitment, hard work, and athletes who continue to push themselves to improve.

And the work doesn’t stop here!! We are already building, growing, and preparing for another strong Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field season. The future is bright for Morehead Track & Field! 🐾

This program is about so much more than medals and marks. Our goal is to help shape confident, motivated young adults who will chase their goals not only in athletics, but in life. Watching these athletes grow as teammates, leaders, and people is what makes this journey so special.

On Saturday, our indoor track athletes competed at JDL Fast Track in the β€œJust Don’t Lose” Classic. Participation in this meet required athletes to be accepted based on qualifying times, making it a highly competitive event. We are extremely proud of all of our athletes who earned the opportunity to compete and represented our program so well.

The following athletes competed in the listed events:

Londyn Hairston – 55m, 300m
Taylor Hopper – Shot Put
Aaliyah Abernathy – Shot Put
Elijah Townsend – 300m
Javion Broadnax – 300m
Aaron Silberman – 500m
Blake Fink – 3200m
Jordan Johnson – Shot Put

We would like to recognize the following athletes for their new personal records.

500m – Aaron ran a time of 1:12.13, finishing 42nd and earning a new personal record.

3200m – Blake finished 13th with a time of 10:09, also setting a new personal record.

Great Job!! Keep pushing, keep improving, and continue to compete at a high level.
