Hello hockey parents,

Just a reminder that if you plan to sign up for this summer's programs, now is the time. We are currently at about 75% capacity. You don't want to miss out on this opportunity to join our successful program!

At Minnesota Freeze we offer a different program from what you will see at any association and most other hockey schools in the area. Our practice plans we use consists of the Euro-Canadian style of teaching which focuses on power skating, agility and speed. We have had a very successful program over the past 7 years. We have helped those kids who have had difficulty skating into becoming better skaters that are able to progress quicker and able to keep up with other players in their associations. We have also helped the more advanced skaters progress by pushing them to work hard and find new ways to improve. Over the past 7 years we have been averaging around 25-30 kids per session and are growing rapidly.

This program is designed for all Mite players from Rookie/Termites to Advance Mite levels. We start out with full ice drills with all players and then split into 2 to 3 different groups and divide them up according to their level of play.
Many of the top players at Sq**rt levels in the area have attended Minnesota Freeze and still say that this was one of the best experiences and most important part of their success for them in their young careers.

Our program guarantees results! We do not use a cookie cutter practice plan format. We adapt from week to week after observing our players and then decide which practice plan suites our players at that time. Our goal is to have your child ready for the upcoming season and be ready for the next level of teaching that they will experience. Not only will your child will be a step ahead of the rest when they start their next season, they will have the experience to understand what the drills are and in turn this will make learning and the game of hockey more enjoyable for them.

Our coaches are experienced coaches that build relationships with each and every player. We feel this is important in the training process that every player feels comfortable with our coaches and that makes the comprehension and learning an easier process for each player.

Our season starts up at the end of the spring/summer season for most sports. We skate on Tuesday and Thursday nights starting June 10th (no weekends and we take the week of the 4th of July off completely). We will have our exact ice times April 10th. Our typical start time is between 6:00-6:30.

The cost is S350.00 per session. If you sign up for both sessions at same time, your cost will be $650.00 for both, saving you $50.00 off the individual session costs.
We also offer different ice time packages at rate of $40.00 per session with 7, 10, & 15 session packages to choose from. You can choose your ice times over the course of the two sessions.
Registration is easy, simply send payments via Venmo to -Freeze. Be sure and put your child's name(s), age, and how many sessions you are signing up for. This will serve as your paid receipt. We will get notification of your registration but you can also email us with a confirmation for registration if you choose.

We finished up our 7th summer at Minnesota Freeze tonight with our traditional pizza party followed by an hour long scrimmage.

All of our players improved so much over the summer! We wish the best of luck to all of you in your upcoming seasons.

I hope you are all doing well this season with your busy hockey schedules. It is that time of year again to start thinking about your off-season training for next summer. Registration is open for our summer program and I am hoping to see all of my players from last year return for another summer of training.

We wrapped up another summer at Minnesota Freeze Hockey School last night. The kids got to scrimmage and play asteroids and other games. All of our kids have improved greatly since the beginning of summer. It’s been a joy coaching these kids this summer. Good luck to all of you this upcoming hockey season.
