Why two tryouts? Because a lot can happen between fall and spring. 👀⚾️
This two-tryout approach has been part of the process for our 12U–14U players in the past, and now we're bringing it to our younger age groups, too.
For 2027, 9U–14U players will have an opportunity to show where they are coming out of the summer/fall season — then they'll have the winter to work on their skills, develop alongside their peers and build chemistry.
Then, they'll get another opportunity in the spring to show what they've developed.
More time. More reps. More development. More opportunity.
That's the idea behind bringing the two-tryout format to all 9U–14U travel baseball levels for 2027.
